This article is used for 64bit model NAS, such likes, Top Tower series, N8900, N12000, N16000, N2800, N4800, N5550, N7700PROv2, N8800PROv2.
Please following steps for your reference:
- Unzip enclosed file “Reset_Admin_Pass_Only.zip” and copy the folder ”gofactory” to an USB driver’ root folder as like “E:\gofactory”. (FAT32)
- Power off NAS.
- Plug USB driver onto the NAS.
- Power up NAS.
- Waiting about 70~120 seconds.
- Remove the USB driver while 1~2 seconds beep sound or after OLED display with “Upgradinf passwd”.
- System going to reboot and ADMIN password back to default “admin”.
